Nice place to visit but ...
Yes, I live in Little Rock. It is okay but only because I have adult children and grandchildren that live here. Otherwise, I would be almost anywhere but in Arkansas. I was born in Michigan, grew up in Kansas and moved here when I was still in school.
If I had it to do over…
I would have provided a better place for my children to grow up and my grandchildren would be somewhere else too. The opportunities, culture, salaries, and everything else bypassed Arkansas. Little Rock is somewhat better than the remaining areas of the state and some credit has to be given for recent efforts but we are still lightyears away from where we should be.
Come visit, see our state and national parks, meet the friendly people, see a few historical sites, go to the horse races in Hot Springs and be thankful you can call some other place home.
