I was an exchange student last year and went to visit my friend who was staying nearby Detroit. I didn’t know what this “People mover” was so when I asked her about it, she said it was “People remover”. I must say that our english wasn’t very good. ‘Remover’ didn’t make any sense to me so I started laughing so hard when her host mom said that it, actually, was a “mover”.

What can I say? I live here. Not in the castle actually but very close to it. I can see it from my window. I think it’s very beautiful. It is the largest medieval castle in central Europe.
They run a lot of performances of swordsmen or folk dancers in summer. I think that they’re there daily.
The movie ‘The Dragonheart’(1996) was filmed there and many other fimls.
You can go to Levoca from there. It’s a small historical town just 15km away. Or you can go hiking to High Tatras.

I must admit that Levoca is not the most enetertaining town in the world but it is definitely worth visiting.
It has beautiful historical centre and very nice caffeterias and restaurants.
You can take trips to other nearby places: make a trip to the Spish Castle, go skiing or hiking to the High Tatras etc..

Because I live in Slovakia and think it is a beautiful country. I’m not patriotic at all but became proud of my homeland during the stay in the US. I realized that Slovakia has interesting history and beautiful nature scenery.
I study in Levoca (historical town) and live in a village that is situared under the Spish Castle (very cool). I hope I will go to a university in Kosice (amazing historical city) and go hiking to High Tatras (mountains) this summer. I also love Slovak Paradise (national park) where I can breathe fresh air.
