I went at the “RockJam” last Friday to see Polémil Bazar, which is of course the bestest music group of all. The festival was located on a small “round” island in the middle of water, it was a pretty nice place. The town in itself isn’t all that hype, though, but the festival seemed okay!

I played bingo there with my boyfriend and his family! Yes mam’!

The city in itself is, in my opinion, not worth wisiting: nothing even remotely touristic, except maybe for the view, and nothing especially beautiful. However, I thought it was very interesting to see a bit more of how the people lived in Cuba, with communism and all. That said, I’ve only been in Holguin for a day (I stayed at a resort nearby) so I obviously didn’t get the time to see everything there could have been to see. If you want to go there, I’d suggest visiting the organ fabric, although it’s probably not what you’d expect ;)

i’ve been to paris more than once, and a trip to the musée du louvre is always in order. i always go back to my favorites (the big names of course, but also some lesser-known ones) and there are also tons of artworks i hadn’t seen before.

my family is going there every three years for a special event called the “choralies”, where the whole town suddenly starts singing, with the participants coming from all over the world to double up the usual population.

the town combines a medieval part (up on the hill, with a castle on top) and quite a lot of roman ruins (due to its southish location). add to all this a beautiful river, lots ans lots of cicadas and sunshine pretty much year-round.. it’s paradisiac.

absolute must on every june 23rd god gives this city.
