rottnest was like a second home to me while growing up; my famliy went there for a week almost every year until i was about 14.

very shallow ocean, for quite a long way out. pure blue water and sand so clean it squeaks beneath your feet.

i’m fascinated by extreme tides, so either here or somewhere like it.

beautiful beaches, but cold cold water!

i want to see ‘the hand’ – a statue on a beach that represents the last thing you see of a drowning person.

when i was 9, to visit my grandfather. can’t remember much.

yes, i know; i live in australia. but it’s actually pretty big, and i’d like to travel extensively around/within it.

long walk down the steps, but very beautiful.
