over 3 years agoBeautiful place!
Loved for its efficiency, cleanliness & lovely people.. :D
And of course, the fact that we kept returning to Frankfurt am Main (esp. the stunning Frankfurt railway station) on our trips around Germany, made it feel a wee bit like home, too! :)
Nice cool weather (late December), friendly people.
Most of all, a really quiet & serene place.
Great beach, beachside night-bazaars & food, too. :)
Wishes all, minerva*
Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s University — The Abode of Peace – would like to visit its hallowed grounds, at the least.
Wishes all, Minerva*
Been visiting my late maternal grandma’s place in Melaka (or Malacca) since the gd ol’ childhood days.. loadsa golden memories attached to the place.
But, the place’s undergoing heavy urbanization lately, with highways criss-crossing everywhere & things have changed.
over 7 years agoGreat beach.
Luved waking up in the morning to catch the beautiful sunrise (& its solar twin reflected in the ever-stretching sea) from our hotel balcony (that faced the beach).
Only, ’twas summer time – horribly hot weather (with occasional cool breezes, yes).
over 7 years agoWent a long time back – when my cousin sis was doing her Degree at Murdoch.. Loved the Swan Lake & the carnivals.
over 7 years agoAgn, a looong time back – but i still do remember vaguely the beautifully-studded/ bejewelled walls & being amazed by the wonderful, wonderful craftsmanship.
Awesome place to be, definitely.
