I have lived in Georgia for 16 years… all my life. It is a beautiful place, filled with intelligent people and I would never dream of living anywhere else. Particularly in northern Georgia (where I am), you can see mountains all around. The most beautiful view in all the world is in my backyard.
Lots of things history buffs would like to see are in Georgia. In Chickamauga, Georgia, there is the famous Chickamauga Battlefield. There are also antique houses in Savannah and the surrounding areas. I won’t even start on Atlanta and Sherman’s March…
There are also modern attractions such as the Coca-Cola factory, the Georgia Aquarium, and Turner Field, home of the MIGHTY Atlanta Braves, all of which are in Atlanta. Also in Atlanta, Zoo Atlanta and Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site.
For the adventurer in some, there are mountains, beautiful ones that run through Georgia. Part of the Appalachain Mountain chain runs through North Georgia. There is also the Okefenokee Swap, and for you country music fans, the Chattahoochie River.
