Anne and I went down just to wander around for the day and it was a lot of fun. I wouldn’t recommend a cross-country trip to visit or anything. But if you’re in the Bay Area and looking for an interesting day trip just to see somewhere different, Carmel is a great destination.
over 5 years agoI was living in San Marino for a while, so this place was right around the corner for me. Definitely definitely worth visiting. If you get a chance to do tea at the teahouse that also is very cool. I loved the bamboo field also, very tranquil.
