Spent way too much time in State College, PA working for a company based there. It is a small town but the college atmosphere makes for an eclectic assortment of shops and eateries. If you are there, check out the Rat Skeller bar and you gotta go get ice cream at the Creamery.

Hiked it and loved every single minute of it!

If you are into Presidential history then this is a cool place. Otherwise, it certainly isn’t worth the trip. You can see Jimmy Carter’s boyhood farm, which is kinda neat. Also, if you are there on a Sunday you can go to church and sit in Pres. Carter’s Sunday School class.

It is a beautiful small town with some nice shops. Other than that, not much. If not for Jimmy Carter (Plains is just a few miles away) and Habitat for Humanity this town would be less well known.

Lived in Sugar Hill for three and a half years. Our house was 7 miles from GA 400, 7 miles from I-85 and the Mall of Georgia, and one mile from Lake Lanier. What could be better? It was small enough to not have to deal with people everywhere and close enough to everything we needed.

Lots of stuff to do and see. If you go, you HAFTA eat at the Varsity and Mello Mushroom Pizza. You simply must!

Lived in Norcross for a few years. It’s OK, but a bit too close to Atlanta proper for my taste. If you go, visit downtown.

OK, now Duluth would be OK if the traffic would ever move. It’s alot of urban sprawl. If you ever get on Pleasant Hill Road, be careful—I think that middle lane has been backed up like that for years now… ;-)

Downtown Duluth is rather a nice little town, however. The outskirts of Duluth where I lived (aka, suburban Atlanta) was hellish.

This is a great town. Walked down River Street, saw all that Spanish Moss and and fell in love with this little piece of southern history.

Not alot of reason to visit Alpharetta. Nice place to live though, as long as you don’t have to drive to work…
