worth visiting just to say you’ve been and for the surfing – if you can brave the water temperature. Personally i’d rather go to hawaii or australia.

worth going if only for the beer and the lebekuchen! (cinnamon biscuit things). Cologne Cathedral was great and at xmas there’s a market which was really great for finding random little treasures.

Was a good experience in terms of I’d never been to the caribbean before and never experienced anywhere out of Europe at the time so that was good, however it was somewhat like being in a really nice prison because you had to say inside a security guarded hotel compund as it was unsafe to go out.

was a trip of mixed opinions, Hotel and Peoplewiss it wasn’t that great, being blonde I got hounded by sleezy guys (not saying its all like that but where I was it happened), but went on two amazing boat rides out into the sea, swam with dolphins, and saw giant manta rays and turtles swimming in the crystal clear waters around the boat – awesome

London is an amazing city and as I will shortly be going to uni there I can’t big it up enough! Expensive though :(

I went to Brazil for a month Xmas 2005 and it was amazing, went to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Ouro Preto, Belo Horiozonte, Uberlandia (where my boyfriend lives) and Caldas Novas. Had some amazing experiences and it’s definately worth going to Sao Paulo and Rio! Best to go with someone who knows it though, preferably brazilian – i stood out like a sore thumb which is not always good.
