    Pabst Theater

    Worth visiting!

A review of this place  — 1 year ago

I saw Sean Lennon here earlier this year. Great place. Decent restrooms. Beautiful theater. Great seating. I would definitely consider coming back.

    East Race/ Howard Park

    Worth visiting!

raft at your own risk and have fun  — 1 year ago

I went rafting here at the east race twice. First time was great. It was a couple bucks per person. I went with my fiance. We had a blast and made it all the way through pretty smoothly. Second time, my husband and I took my kid brother. We made it about 50 ft before our raft got stuck on something big and we all felt like we were going to die. They give you a crash course before they send you off with your little ores but you seem to forget everything they said the second something goes wrong. The handy “rescue team” is supposed to come rescue you. They seemed to take a while to get to us when we needed them but we all made it out okay. Its a fun thing to do in the summer if you are up for a little adventure (but not ALOT). Its cheaper than a movie and if you make it out alive, you feel great afterwards. I will say “raft at your own risk”. As safe as they make it look, it is really easy to get hurt and swallow a disgusting amount of river water. Someone I know even broke their ankle.

    Riviera Theater

    Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

I saw Regina Spektor here earlier this year. It was alright. The architecture was grand and the whole place had a nice vintage feel to it. I was on the second floor which I think was the only seated area in the theater. The restrooms weren’t the most accessible so it is probably better if you just go ahead of time and then, y’know, don’t drink anything.
