In 2005 I had the pleasure of visiting California. It was the first time I traveled by myself. Aside from getting confused trying to leave Sacramento airport I managed driving without too much difficulty. Of course, I had to learn to pump gas for my trip. I headed north along I-5 to Redding. I saw Shasta Caverns, Shasta Lake, Whiskeytown Lake, Old Shasta, traveled to Burney Falls and up to Camptonville. I wish I had been able to see Lassen State Park but time was a factor for me. I found Redding to be very clean ( the parts I saw ) and the people were very friendly. I would love to go back and take my children. I fell in love with the northern Sacramento valley region. There’s so much I still want to see. Lake Tahoe, the giant redwoods, San Francisco and Muir Woods to name a few. Without dreams of travel, where would we be?

What a beautiful and relaxing afternoon! The snorkling was good. Amazing fish. Amazing sand.
