I go every year for the county fair.

Most people, even people who have lived in the area a long time, think Findley lake is its own town.
But it’s not, it’s just a lake, it’s really part of the Mina township.

Also, the lake is man-made.

Chautuauqua Institution is probably the best place to spend your summer in the area, since there isn’t much else here in Western New York!!
It’s expensive, but no more than any other place, and offers hundreds of different activities! You can take classes, listen to lectures and concerts, go shopping, anything you can imagine! My favorite thing to do every summer is to simply walk the grounds, which are beautiful on a summer day. It’s filled with friendly people.
Hundreds of students come every summer, especially musicians and singers. I’ve taken summer enrichment there. Every day there is a lecture, concert, or some kind of event you can attend, and there’s also a craft show every year.

I went on the Maid of The Mist last year, and I was one of the driest people on it. :)
Pull your hood over your face, you can still breath and still see through it and you stay extra dry.

I LOVE Hard Rock Cafe, they have great food, even though they’re for not-so-great-prices. A little loud with old rock, but richly decorated and a great place to go with friends. Niagra Fall’s Hard Rock Cafe lives up to it’s name, and is a bigger restaraunt so there’s almost always a seat.

Just a normal town, not really a tourist site. I went there for the NYS FFA State Convention. (2007)
