i wish my experience to me similar to the experience of space as described in Space Odyssey 2001, as the characters(cant remember who) return to earth without the ship

may i fly past the moon, across the deep divide of space, around our sun and towards the red planet of Mars. Once there i will wander over amazing rocky formations, over bare mountains and across waterless rivers. i will pause in my wonder and view the sun that powers all life on earth, and marvel at he universe.

i will dream that one day we will be able to make this journey effortless, perhaps we will value the lessons learnt on Earth, and Mars may be our future and our survival, and the home of a better species than we currently are

but never quite made it, was on my way to vietnam and or Laos when traveling gound Thailand, passport & $$ got stolen so couldnt go. one day will make it.

especially want to take the train down the coast, have heard its beautiful

and it was absolutly fantastic! i loved every minute, i was working as an english teacher in the city of Tai Chung, left when my school was seroiusly damaged in the huge earthquake a few years back.
I would with out a doubt recommend taiwan to anyone, it’s a fantastic place, easy to get around and increadibly beatuiful, and the cities are huge! Great fun, & if you do want to earn, while you are there, pleanty of opportunities at English schools.
I made heaps of friends while there, the taiwanese people are so lovely, and mandarin is not as difficult to learn as you may imagine

yup, would take a while to see this place, ive been several times to different places, & it’s all great! Only thing is, everything is miles and miles and miles apart…takes ages to drive anywhere.
I worked on Hamilton island in the whitsundays for about 8 months, well worth a visit if you can make it this far, sydney , brissie and Melbourne all also worth a look, its a great place

that my partner and i can visit beirut, as his family are from there…its a family legend that they were once royalty! Would love to find out if that was true!

i lived there for 1 year, working mostly, didn’t get to travel hugely, but did spend about 1 month traveling around. Fantastic place to visit, esp Bangkok, that is a truley amazing city, the temples are beautiful, the smell is something quite unique, and i could have quite easily spent the entire time there. would love to do back and see all the things i missed

but fantastic city, loved the atmosphere, so easy to get around, great food, heaps to see and do, andn I wanne visit again!

..who has traveled a bit…i love this place, it’s so beautiful, has so many hidden gems, the beaches are amazing, the people are friendly, and i only wish that other kiwis would see NZ in the same way. NZ will always be home to me ….but I still want to see everywhere else as well :)
