it’s a nice town to visit, especially during summer when you can go from one potteries museum to another… or just for a stop-by before you head to alton towers. the location is quite good as well, only about an hour by train from birmingham/manchester or an hour and a half from london.

i can’t say i love the place coz having grown up in a big city, stoke doesn’t offer much. i prefer visiting newcastle-under-lyme which is just next to stoke although it’s actually smaller.

anyway, i live in stoke at the mo because of my job that i enjoy doing, so… i can’t complain that much, can i? :)

Originally came from Indonesia, I feel guilty for not spending more time to travel around the country. I’ve only been around Java, two cities in Sumatera, Bali and Lombok while there are more than 13,000 islands in the country! Go diving in Sulawesi and Bali, visit the orang utan conservations in North Sumatera and Borneo are just a few things that I would like to do when I go back to my home country.

I’ve lived in England for two years now and I haven’t set foot in Ireland! I don’t understand why I don’t need a visa to visit Belfast but I do need one for Dublin :(

I went to Glasto Fest 2004 and had the time of my life! Stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights although the festival was for 3 days coz my mates and I didn’t want to miss anything. The experience of the rain, the sun, the mud, the MUSIC (the Chemical Brothers, Keane, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, James Brown, Starsailor, Orbital, do I need to say more?), the booze, the public bogs and everything was unbeatable! I defo want to go back some day.

A nice city to visit especially for the Beatles Museum, Albert Dock, the Cathedral and the pubs!

Crazy rollercoasters! It was drizzling the whole day when I came but I still had a hella good time with my mates. I didn’t try RITA though coz the queue was too damn long. Want to go back coz I want to ride OBLIVION!!! I chickened out the last minute after having my stomach stirred in ENTERPRISE.

I’ve been to York for so many times because first, once is never enuf and second, every time friends or relatives came to visit me in England, I always took them to York. The city is so beautiful with its old historical buildings. A walk around the town and by the river is a must thing to do!

I’ve been to Dubai a few times but only got stuck at the airport as my planes made transits. The airport obviously never sleeps coz once I was there at 3 am and it was so busy!!! I would love to go and explore outside the airport of course… to see the beaches and the palace!

I went there for Umroh years ago when I was in high school and visited Mecca, Medina and Jeddah. It was quite an experience for me. The weather was really hot, there was a very religious atmosphere anywhere I went. Was pretty shocked when a lady tried to talk me with an angry sign language because my top was barely covering my hips although it wasn’t tight and I was wearing a jacket over my long-sleeved tshirt.

I stayed in the city only for a few days when I had a stopover flying from Canada. Arrived there around 10 pm and it was hot and humid and the airport was out of order. Didn’t see much except for the shops, the traffics and the accident I had when I took a cab the next day! People told me that the place has changed in the past 5 years so I’m willing to give it another try.
