Boston, Massachusetts

Today I took the Freedom Trail Tour in the pouring rain!! It was cold, rainy, and windy, and we got soaking wet, but we are now well-educated on the American Revolution! Our tour guide (who was dressed in a colonial outfit as Elizabeth Otis — daughter of James Otis) said we were the bravest tourists she’d seen. Well, it was memorable!
Anyway, here are a couple of good places to eat on the Freedom Trail:
1. Union Oyster House: good seafood, and the oldest restaurant in America
2. Omni Parker Hotel: created the Boston Cream Pie (which is still delicious), had famous guests and former employees, oldest continuously operating hotel in the U.S.
