International District, Seattle

Seattle is beautiful, but the International District is what make the city shine with excellence. The shops, resteraunts, and people there are well worth the trip. For your first time visiting, I suggest you visit Uwajimaya Shopping Centre. They have a grocery store with other, smaller stores attached. My favorite part about Uwajimaya is the book-store, Kinokuniya.

Overall, Seattle’s little piece of Asian culture is enjoyable for the locals, the admirers, and visiters of all ethnic backgrounds~

Nishinomiya, Hyōgo

Nishinomiya and a very close friend

Chie came to my hometown in August of last year. That was when we met for the first time, and became very good friends. She was so fun to be around and I enjoyed every minute of our time. Unfortunately, she left far too soon, as all the students that came that summer from Nishinomiya did. I hope someday we’ll meet again.
