I’m about to leave Moscow but it has been a wonderful home for over 5 years. The community is amazing and very progressive (especially for Idaho!). It’s a college town but the best time of year is the summer when all the frat boys & sorority girls leave. :) The fact that there is a co-op is probably one of the best features, but there is also a great arts community, easy access to all things outdoors, and wonderful people. I thought I wanted to live in a big city before I moved here, now I know I’m a small town girl.

I loved Italy! If you like food, wine, and art, you’re in luck. There is so much history and the countryside is just beautiful. Be sure to have wine in Tuscany and ride a gondola in Venice. And the island of Capri is absolutely stunning!

Glacier is amazing. The hiking is superb and you’ll see so much wildlife. I think I saw 5 bears in the first day I was there. I need to go back, the park is so big that it’s hard to see all of it in one trip. It’s really too bad the glaciers are all melting from global warming… so see it soon! Where else can you find snow and ice in August?

Where else can you hang out with the biggest trees in the world? I went here in 2002 and hiked along Redwood Creek. What a beautiful area. The forests and the ocean all in one place = perfect. You should definitely see it, before someone decides they want to cut all the beautiful trees down.
