this is a disgusting place that is full of crime, drugs, dirty strip clubs and prostitution. I’m ashamed that it is part of my home state, illiois, and needs to be bulldozed to the ground.

Atlanta is not your typical southern town. It’s more comparable to Chicago than a Nashville type town. The city itself is full of not so great neighborhoods, so make sure to do your research on where to stay and go. There are so many fabulous restaurants, museums and attractions to explore! Don’t forget to stop by a Braves game.. that’s always tons of fun. Traveling a little out of the city, Stone Mountain is always a fun place to go. Their light/laser show is wonderful and a great thing to experience. Lake Lenier is also fun if you’re into the boating thing. A great city with tons of excitement!

I have been to Huntsville on numerous occasions due to family living there. Huntsville is full of chain restaurants, movie theatres and nothing much more. There’s only a handful of nice restaurants, no fun bars, and lots of drunk driving. It’s an extremely boring city with not much to offer.

Portland has such a different style of living than I’m used to! Everything is organic, free-spirited and over-the-top friendly. Dogs are everywhere! When coming, make sure to have a good idea what you want to do.. You’ll end up missing all the good stuff. Make sure to check out the Farmers Market!

This is an awesome little town. I went to school in Carbondale from 2002 until 2004 and it was a great experience. The town is full of friendly, fun-loving people and it’s always a good time. The bars and parties get a little crazy.. but thats never a bad thing! If you’re not into the bar scene, carbondale and its smaller surrounding towns have tons of nature parks. Theres an abundance of places to rock climb, hike, etc. Spillway (a beautiful waterfall where all the students go to swim, barbeque, party, enjoy scenery) is a must!!

A fun family town filled with tons of water parks, theme parks and cheesy shopping. A great place to go with a group of friends. If youre into the bar scene, check out Marley’s after 10.. its turns into a fun little dance club.
