If you have been before, it might be a good time to go back. The new Visitor’s Center, just opened in April 2008, is absolutely amazing. Really detailed, interactive, easy to follow. Even if you’re new to Civil War history, it’s extremely helpful.

Also, if you’re an enthusiast and can afford $65 a person, take the horseback riding tour. It is well worth the money and fun. A great way to see the southern battlefield.

Two words: no shoes.

More specifically: wear sandals and check them in the box on the platform. For real.

If paying $8-12 for an several appetizers doesn’t sound like your thing, don’t go here.

However, if sampling small portions of some of the BEST food you’ve ever eaten is what you’re after, Small Plates is your place.

We had:

• the olive and cheese plate – really tasty, but might not get it next time
• the veggie spring rolls – fresh, crispy, and the dipping sauce was phenom
• hand-cut fries – fries were average, but the housemade barbecue ketchup was amazing
• Panko shrimp – hands-down the best shrimp I have ever had. good lord.

Got my BFA at Wayne. Saw and did plenty of shows here.

Just finished performing in Sweeney Todd here! (In one of the pictures above, you can see my friends Dawn and Kelly, who were in Sweeney with me. Pete’s my friend too but he wasn’t in this recent production.)

Good theatre, good people.

I have personal ties to this place. It’s kinda where I fell in love.

The food isn’t good, but they have Blue Moon on Draft, and a pretty, er, tolerant waitstaff.

I have only been to Tennessee once, and I was much younger, possibly a single digit age. It was definitely worth it then. I have no idea how I would feel about it now.

Drunk, on the L on St Patty’s day, convincing people we were Irish. Lovely.
