I went on a tour of the White House with my school (University of Delaware) at the beginning of the month. It was really beautiful and incredible. I wish I could go back and see more! I’d especially like to go on a tour around Christmas.

This was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. This Buddha is enormous. It is amazing how many old Asian ladies you see walking up the hundreds of stairs to see the Buddha. Breathtaking.

P.S. The food there is AWESOME. If you pack a lunch, don’t bring any meat because you’re not allowed to eat it there.x%x

Honestly, I was disappointed. It was built up to be all about King Tut, but it really wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong – the artifacts were cool and plentiful, but barely anything belonged to King Tut. I wouldn’t go back. I would, however, recommend the IMAX movie about the curse of the pharaohs or whatever.

It was awesome! Although it was small, hot, and dirty, it was really neat! I won a bagful of freshly-cooked fortune cookies. They’re amazing when they’re hot!

...you probably don’t live in Delaware. This is like, the place for high school and some college kids here. I would be surprised if there was a teenaged Delawarian out there who hasn’t heard at least one person talk about it.

I went with my boyfriend & his mom a couple years back. It was an awesome day.
