I came to Ocean Springs to visit the famous Shearwater Pottery Company. A wonderful experience. Too bad the family-owned business has been devastated by Katrina. You can stroll along the Gulf and see a wonderful sunset which adds to the experience.
over 7 years agoSo powerful and so beautiful. The vegetation was amazing. The sky was clear and as blue as blue can get. A very special place. Trekking out to the walkways give you a up close experience with the falls. Don’t bother to take a slicker, if it’s hot enough, you’ll be dry in a minute. I’d go back.

A few winters ago, I was in NYC when the twin lights installation was in place. It was very moving as these beams of light reached for the stars.
