i lived here for three months before returning to the coast. it wasnt the fault of GDL i left, it was being land locked. this boy needs to see the coast. gdl is beautifuñ, the architecture in the centre is beautiful. european feel to the atmosphere. the university areas on diaz de leon, and the central cathedrals. i prefer expitorio. i also enjoyed the market on independencia called san juan de dios. its big and dirty but fun. also walking north from the center on federalismo you will discover a ten foot tall kilometre long mural surrounding a cemetary. the emotion in this painting is so wide ranging. stupendous. take the time to see it. anyway, great city. was a shame to leave.

A beautiful city, what strikes me most is how laid back the people are. In the home of graffiti the atitude is let the artists do their worst. catching certain subway trains opens your eyes to striking graffiti. central rome is touristy but beautiful. going in eatsre for the easter sunday service with the pope is amazing even if you are not religious, (i am not) unfortunately the last service i saw there was the last of pope john paul II. make sure you keep your appartment windows closed at night even if its hot, and make sure your pockets and safe. especially in touristy areas. mail me for any help.
