Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

Torn in between the 2...

While St. Thomas IS very touristy, I must say that I also have to agree with those who said that it was postcard perfect. St. Thomas was the last stop on my cruise. I went parasailing and it was BEAUTIFUL. The people weren’t mean to me or my friend…we actually met a man who had dressed a donkey up in a ridiculous get up and when asked what he charged to have pictures taken, he told us that he didn’t want any money but he would happily accept donations. We handed him a 5 and we were only gonna take one picture…but he insisted that we take more. The water in St. Thomas is a deep blue and everything is so serene. The sun was intense but the breeze kept it cool enough for us to continue sightseeing.

Aruba, Central America And The Caribbean

Definitely not what I expected...

but that’s okay. It was beautiful in the weirdest way. I went on a 7 1/2 hour off road adventure in an open-top Jeep and it was amazing. I never imagined Aruba to be so rugged. The ocean was rough and the sands rockier than sandy. If you get the opportunity, go on the off-road adventure and visit the fort along the way and also try and see all of the natural bridges.

Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles

I didn't spend much time there...

Unfortunately… But…I did visit the Dolphin Academy and I swam with the dolphins. I must say that this was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The water was beautiful, the sun was shining and the dolphins were high on life. I truly wish that I could have seen more but what little I DID see was gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back!!
