My visit to Thailand, was in one word, amazing. Everything about the place was just so memorable. Our experience there did have one glitch though; this had to do with something getting stolen at one of the open markets in Bangkok. Nevertheless, this is an something that can occur at almost any open market so it just goes to show that you can shop but don’t forget to keep an eye on your stuff. With that being said, everything else was simply wonderful. From the food, to the colorful places, historical sights, interesting and friendly people.. wow, it was great. Thai food is one of my favorites simply because of the very flavorful food. The abundant use of spices and flavors makes your mouth simply water with just the smell. Tasting the food is even better. Visiting the historical sights and wildlife parks in Bangkok was quite an experience. The wildlife safari was great. It’s definitely something any animal lover, kid, or kid-at-heart would surely enjoy. Shopping in Bangkok – oh so wonderful. The deals and one of a kind items you could find are hard to miss. Shopping is definitely a must in Bangkok. Although, it is definitely no substitute to immersing yourself in actual Thai culture. For me, experiencing Thai culture is exotic yet familiar. I simply can’t wait for my next visit to Bangkok =)
