This I opined to a cab driver in Dublin; “The sad thing about Dublin is that it’s changing, the good thing about Dublin is that it’s changing.”
See, Dublin used to be an old town set in its ways, but since around the height of the tech persuasion, Dublin has started to prosper, in fact, it’s the second most expensive city in the EU. It wouldn’t be in the position that it currently enjoys had it not been for change. So, change is good as long as it’s managable. If you want the “Irish experience” then all you need to do is head out of town a few kilometers and you’ll find it there.
