....but they were great. Th weather was great in late October, the Guiness was fresh, and the sites were beautiful.

I’ve been to many cities – and this one is my favourite. Only European city I visited that I felt that I could live in….

Van Gogh, Anne Frank, coffee shops….it’s worth going to. Just don’t stay for 6 days when the forecast is calling for rain every one of those days. :)

I only went to Prague for 3 days, but it’s a beautiful city – and worth visiting. Beware of the thousands of tourists in the centre of the city though.

Great cities to walk around in or to view from a pub/cafe window. Fresh cities with lots of history. I enjoyed myself in this country.

Visited these 3 cities while on the Trans-Siberian. St. Petersburg is, by far, the best – but don’t miss out on Lake Baikal – beautiful. I hated the visas, invitation, registration stuff, but hopefully that will change in years to come…

Was only in Mongolia for 5 days, but experienced UB, slept in a ger, fell off a Mongolian horse, woke up to 3 inches of snow in September – quite the experience

Stayed in Beijing for 2 weeks before our Trans-Mongolian trip to Mongolia, ending in Moscow. Interesting city – loved the Great Wall
