I lived here for a year and a half. It is a beautiful island. There’s not much of a town. Cruz Bay is little more than a couple of intersections with most people living on the fringes of town or scattered around the island, but there are lots of watersports, hiking trails and gorgeous beaches.

I used to live in Sharm al Sheikh. I worked as a SUCBA instructor in the Red Sea. , and it was amazing. The diving is the best I’ve ever seen, even after five years of working around the world as a diver. It was a hard place to live and travel however. I’m currently learning Arabic because I think travelling in the region will be much easier once I can speak the language.
