Just remember that this is a large open area in the heart of our federal government, not a large shopping mall :-)
The area is surrounded by many monuments, museums and federal buildings. So much is within easy access, it could take days to see everything around the mall.
over 6 years agoWe never got to leave the airport, but it was a nice place for a very short layover on our way back to Chicago from Europe.
over 6 years agoSchaumburg is a growing suburb located just a short drive outside of Chicago. Schaumburg was once home to one of Al Capone’s hideouts, which has been turned into a Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria. Woodfield Mall, the largest enclosed commercial space in the world, can be found just off of I-90, along with IKEA, Motorola, and Roosevelt University.
