The cruises are expensive but worth it. Plan for this to take a whole day, and do not let rain stop you! When it is raining, there are more waterfalls and it is quite stunning.

over 3 years agoThe Shotover Jet takes you inches from sheer canyon walls and slides you around the Shotover River in a fantastic and beautiful adrenalin rush. The best part, by far, is the 360 degree spins. I am not sure how this compares to other Queenstown jetboating companies (there are many) but I do know they’re the only ones with access to the Shotover Canyon, so that is probably an added dimension you don’t get with the others.
over 3 years agoNot quite as good as Velvet Burger in Dunedin, but still delicious! The fries (yes, they are called fries on the menu) don’t include dip in the price, which I object to. You have to pay 50 cents for the tiniest bit of dip (garlic aioli, wasabi mayo, bbq sauce, tomato sauce, etc). That was probably the only thing I didn’t like. I’ve heard these are the best burgers in Queenstown.
