over 6 years agothere is nothing really great about this place. its just cold. by water. by canada. with bars. thats it.
over 6 years agoi grew up here. its great in the summer. a truly unique place- its like colonial times, no cars, only buggies. but you have to understand- in the winter, everyone leaves and the boats stop running so you are stuck there for 6 months. it takes boring to a whole new level. people visit the island in the summer and think, “this is great, i’m never leaving,” then find out its a whole different place in the winter.
but i think everyone should visit in the summer! its one big party. but expensive. and touristy.
