For food&drink, I would recommend:
- Erdbeer, a bar in Mitte, with delicious strawberry beer.
- Cafe Jacques in Kreuzberg for the best houmous I’ve ever eaten.
- Cafe Wintergarten im Literaturhaus in Charlottenburg for the fluffiest, tastiest breakfast pancakes, complete with fresh fruit and maple syrup.

Well I just wanted to thank all of the fabulous folks who replied to my question about where to eat and what to see! I thought Edinburgh was lovely! The weather held for us (only a few hours of rain, and it wasn’t heavy…) so we weren’t restricted in our sightseeing. We shopped on Princes Street, we took an open-top bus tour, we climbed Arthur’s Seat (that view was worth the days of aching calves and the very cold ears), toured the castle, wandered the Royal Mile, went to Mary King’s Close, laughed a lot on the Witchery Tour, and admired the art at the National Gallery. And as for food, well! Barioja Tapas Bar, Chocolate Soup, The Tower, Elephant House Cafe, The Witchery and Always Sunday all offered up their wares for my consumption. And I don’t have a complaint about any of them, my favourite was the Witchery, just because of its astounding wine list and delicious lavender ice cream. So – thank you! I’ll definitely be returning one day.

Be sure to visit Boston Tea Party for breakfast. It was delish!

The Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden was AMAZING, and I also enjoyed the Tate, and sitting on the beach in the sunshine, and the Porthminster Beach Cafe right on the beach with delicious red mullet and a dark chocolate brulee to finish, and Russetts which had lovely mussels, and really Cornish cream ice-cream, and the sea! It’s so turquoise!

Well, I come from Wales, my parents live in Wales and it’s where I grew up, and I still spend my holidays there, but I’m currently an England inhabitant :) Wales is really quite beautiful. I live in the north, only about 10 miles from the Wales-England border, but Wales all the same :)

Popped down just this weekend; went to the theatre, Portobello market, a fabulous little nightclub, and Tate Britain.

I think colourful and fascinating are the two best adjectives to describe Nepal; overall I had a great time, although it wasn’t always easy.

I absolutely loved Melbourne, though I was only there for 4 days. The most wonderful little cafes and bars ever. Very cool, very laid back, very young. Just gorgeous!
