PCC - View Ridge

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

I haven’t been to any of the other PCCs, but I like this one. The prepared foods case always has something good, and the people who work behind the counter are always really friendly. If you want really good organic produce, awesome vegetarian options, etc., this is the place to go.

Sunflour Bakery Cafe

A review of this place

I had picked up scones and coffee from here before, and that was good, so I went back with my boyfriend to have an actual sit-down breakfast. It was a weekday, and not very crowded, but we were still put in a tiny corner by the entrance where people kept almost running into us and our food took an hour (when one of us had ordered the daily special and the other ordered just toast and eggs). I wouldn’t have minded the wait so much were it not for the fact that the food, when it came, was not particularly impressive. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day? I won’t say that it’s not worth visiting, since I would go back to pick up scones and coffee again.

Magnolia Cafe South

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Since it’s a pretty popular place, it tends to be crowded during the day, and you’ll probably have to wait a while to be seated. But since it’s open 24 hours, you can go late at night and avoid the wait. Get the magmud. It will rock your world.

EZ's Brick Oven And Grill

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

The best thing about EZ’s? The cherry shake. The next best thing? The fact that you can get the veggie burger in the style of any of the meat burgers. The chocolate malt’s pretty damn good, too.

La Reyna

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas rancheras have slightly melted cheese inside and potatoes and carrots on top instead of a greasy, mysterious brown sauce. The queso is good, and they have bottled Mexican sodas as well. The service can be a bit slow at times, but you won’t have to wait to be seated, and the food is worth it.

El Arroyo

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

There are daily specials, such as the 2 for 1 cheese enchiladas on Tuesdays. I mostly just go here for the fried ice cream.

Wan Fu

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

Wan Fu has several good dishes and is open late. There’s a good selection of veggie options, and the chef will usually make the other dishes veggie if you ask. The basil tofu is my favorite, although the kung pao tofu is good too.

Hoa Hoa

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

It’s not fancy, but Wan Fu has some good food. There are plenty of veggie options. Their sesame tofu is my favorite. Avoid the soft tofu dish, and don’t bother eating in their dining room – the tables are always sticky. Just get some hoisin sauce and eat outside in the mall food court.
