Chocolate Hills

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

The Chocolate Hills look more chocolate-y in the summer, when the heat browns the grass atop some of the hills. In the rainy season, the hills will look like “Greenhills”. :-)

On the way to Chocolate Hills, the road will snake up the mountain and through the man-made Bilar forest. If you’re prone to dizziness, please be prepared.

Here’s our family travelogue about Chocolate Hills –

Bohol

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

If you like to see a sunrise, stay at the Alona Palm Beach. If you prefer to take photos of sunsets, try the Panglao Island Nature Resort.

Here’s a more detailed comparison of those two places in Bohol -

Loboc

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

If you’re going to take the Loboc River Cruise (barge pushed by banca), be sure to take it during lunch. The food served is great, and the live acoustic music is engaging. Look for Mang Medik, and request for his famous “Welcome To Bohol” song.
