Finland is simply wonderful!

I can simply say that Helisinki, Finland is a truly remarkable place to visit.

West Virginia has a negative stereotype for many Americans. I too had a similar prejudice until I spent three months in Charleston, West Virginia in the Fall of 1993. It was quite an interesting place to live for three months. I was working locum with the Cardiac Surgery staff of CAMC. I was really inspressed with the diversity of people in that “neck-o-the-woods” The most impactful experience I had here was my exposure to how Islam was practice in America. There is a rather large and active Pakistani-muslim community in Charleston, WV. I actually worked with many physcians who were active members within the Pakistani-muslim community and grew to admire their faith. I also had co-workers from other backgrounds such as Baha’i, Hindhi, Baptist Christians and born-again Evangelists. I remember vividly the incredible conversations we shared about the world we live in.

I would definitely return just to visit the people I met during that time of my life.
