What an interesting place… It’s like Disneyworld in some senses; everything is obviously staged and not quite authentic, but it’s very fascinating to walk around Portmeirion a little. A good spot for lunch. And the gardens/woods are beautiful to walk through. And that dried up lake thing is weird.
over 5 years agoBonn is OK. I mean, there are cooler cities in that region of Germany, like Köln. But, if you are into government or history or something, it’s probably worth checking out. Ha.
over 5 years agoI was in Eville for a wedding one weekend, and after the reception, I went to Someplace Else, a gay bar downtownish. It was a blast! Everyone was very friendly and the drinks were so cheap. Great scene.
