Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

definite highlight of any sf trip

be sure to go and spend the day there – rent bikes and start at the end of the park on stanyan, then head past the conservatory (which if you’re big on rhododendrons is right across from the most magnificient dell) head out to the beach meandering past stow lake and the buffaloes and end up at the queen wilhemina dutch windmill with the best display of tulips in all of SF. across the great highway from this is Ocean Beach! it’s a great day!

great place for holiday shopping

love chinatown – especially great for stocking stuffers. Definitely go there, but remember to take public transportation (parking is nonexistent) and close your nose… the herbs and smells of chinatown take a little getting used to…
