It’s where my misplaced Romany heart came from. I need to see it for my own eyes.

I got a postcard from here once from my friend who rode his bike over 900 miles in se asia. He said the food was great, people threw rocks at him everywhere he went, and it’s one place where things aren’t so easily forgotten.

To brush up on my Arabic so I can haggle in the marketplace, and because I told that Moroccan cab driver that I’d go someday…

I cannot resist the beauty of this place. It also has the highest literacy rate in the world and no army to speak of. The people are so much more creative and free. If there’s any place in the universe that’s close to being perfect, it’s here.

I honestly can’t recall anything about this place either.

I slept in parks and the people were very friendly.

No fucking thank you. I had ANOTHER BAD experience.

I’ve been here several times and couldn’t tell you a thing about it. I guess that says something.

Everyone needs to go here at least once in their lives. Take a trip along the river to upstate. It’s amazing to believe that a huge city and all the northern beauty exist in the same state.
