I will go to live in Göteborg next year. I want to live in another country for some time… don’t know how much, I just want to know how does it feel to start a life alone in a foreign place. And I decided that it will be in Göteborg. Why? I don’t really know, but I was there last year for a few days at the end of a long trip, and I felt so peaceful there, the city is nice, people is nice, and also it’s near Oslo or Copenhagen, two cities I also liked very much.

This train reaches speeds up to 50km/h, so it lets you discover the beautiful places that Sweden can offer in a slow pace. The guides are very nice and will give you a lot of useful and interesting information. If you like trains and you like to travel this is for you.

I travelled for 3 days through the northern part of the line, from Gällivare to Östersund, stoping at Ardvisjaur and Dorotea, and it was really beautiful.

The sculptures are so expressive! It’s like each one have it’s own story, a whole life inside it. Really inspiring.

There is no youth hostel, if you don’t want to spend a lot in the hotel, go to the Camping instead, there are cabins so you don’t need a tent.

The tourist information office was not of too much help, the girls there knew less than myself about the surroundings… finally they managed to print a schematic trekking map from the computer so I could walk through the woods, but they didn’t knew that in summer is not possible to walk through the skying paths! I discovered myself later… Luckily there are lots of walking/trekking/jogging paths across the very beautiful surroundings.

In Montjuic mountain there are some beautiful parks and gardens, and this is my favourite. Also from there you can see the best views of the city.
