Just came back from a quick trip to Lima and I was blown away by the variety and quality of the food. The seafood in particular was exceptional, but everything I tried was delicious. Oh, and the Pisco Sour, Peru’s answer to Mexico’s Margaritas has a hell of a kick… Salud!
over 6 years agoMy brother and I were in Buenos Aires last year on business, but had a great time seeing the city and hanging out with the locals. Met some great people, loved the culture, the music and certainly the food. Best steaks ever!

I’ve done this river many times and can’t wait for the next one. It’s an amazing ride with a few calm spots but mostly a thrilling trip through primary rain forest.
Besides the Pacuare, Costa Rica has beautiful beaches, great national parks, some of the most friendly people in Latin America, spectacular rain forests and yes, pretty bad roads. If you like adventure travel, this should be on your short list.
