An unforgettable juxtaposition of breathtaking nature/human waste and suffering. You will NEVER see anything like this. This was the most moving experience I have had with nature so far. Very conducive to creative output, as well, if you are an artist.

The cutest Thai place I’ve ever seen, run by the most delightful Thai ladies…food is great, try the green papaya salad.

If you want a downtown experience, skip the East Village and go to the Lower East Side instead. There’s some OK stuff in the Village, but all in all it’s overpriced, bland, fratty.

This place is from outer space or something. The architecture is just so weird…in a corporate way. I never do anything here, but if you want to be bewildered by alien architecture, I guess go here.

BAM is a pleasant place to go. The staff is nice, the building is pretty, they always have great cultural events happening and the Cinema and esp the Cinematek shows great films. And Rocky’s Deli across the way makes cheap, standard sandwiches that are for some reason so satisfying.

Yum.
