It was 3 days of great music, hanging out with family, and having fun. What more is there to say?

It was the fourth of July 08. I was cranky about leaving a bbq early, and my wife took me here to make me less cranky. It worked. The homemade icecream is good, and the location can’t be beat. After living in Pepperell for nearly a year, we have finally found a close icecream stand.

I’ve got a great rumor about this years ACL… That Tasha and I will be at it!

Note, my sister did get us tickets for 08 ACL, so I should be going next year.

Stayed in CBD Sydney and enjoyed it. I did all the tourist things, like ribs and rumps, Opera House, Climbed the bridge, visited the center point tower, darling harbor, ate at Chinese noodle house, and had ‘pints’ at a few of the local bars. Its a fun city, with lots to do and see. I even caught a AFL game to see what the really Auzzies enjoy, what a blast. I hope next time I visit, I’ll be able to visit other cities, the outback, the blue mountains, and even some of the vineyards and winery’s else where in the country.
All in all it was a good experience, and I’d recommend visiting if you can.

You can sit on the deck, watch the river and enjoy a fresh mircobrew.

The sun was setting behind the harbor bridge, the colors were lighting the Opera House with it’s glow. Amazing place to enjoy a a fine glass of Australian wine, and take in the scenery. I’d avoid the restaurants along the quay, as they are all over priced, with slow service, but take time to walk up and down to soak in the atmosphere.

The rumor has it that I will be visiting Sydney for 3 weeks starting Sunday may 6th. Hot damn! I was not sure I’d ever travel this far… for this long.
Here’s to being upside down.

I visited my sister there this past weekend. I really enjoyed the trip. Austin seems to be a fun place, growing like crazy. I wished I had a chance to go down town, visit the capital, but… we did visit Rudy’s, Chuys, 6 vineyards, and see round rock. I look forward to going back.

I’ve been here once, great place to grab lunch, or breakfast.
I can’t wait to go back.
