Must See National Palace Museum
I lived in Taiwan for 9 months in the mid 80s. I still miss Taipei. We toured the entire island with mountain gorges, hotsprings, beaches, bamboo forest retreats, and fabulous night life. Still the best part was the National Palace Museum. If you travel Oct 10th for 10/10 celebration, the fireworks are amazing. They light all the government buildings from Oct to Dec also. Definitely worth a trip.
