It is true Paris is a beautiful city and most people either don’t speak english or don’t want to. So if you are an American you will get a bit of a French attitude at times as they expect you to know their language since they know yours. But aside from that it’s beautiful, charming city and should be seen in the spring or summer. I went in October and it was cold. I loved the French pastries, crepes, apple cider, Latin Qtr.flea market… My husband and I stayed in St. Germaine. I loved St. Germaine!! The location for us couldn’t have been better. St. Germaine is artsy, quaint, lots of little pastry shops, places to eat and near just about everything. If I went back again I would stay in the same little hotel in St. Germain. The hotel was very nice, rooms were small though, clean, very floral decor, and cute. The way from the airport though was a bit of a shocker with miles of buildings that looked like public houseing projects. Paris was beautiful. I miss the crepes and cider on a cold evening. I would like to go back. It is not my favorite city but it does rank high!

I was here for 2 days. I wish I had maybe one more day. What I saw of it was nice. It’s a rather small, quaint city.

I bought a coockoo clock for my mom. The cockoo clock shop was fun to visit. The food wasn’t too great though and most restaurant near our hotel had menus that were not in english. It was challenging trying to figure out what to order. I was hopeing to try swiss fondu while in switzerland but in Zurich the fondu was way too air-o-matic for me!!! I love the swiss chocolate!! All in all, Zurich is pretty, quaint, but a little to laid back and slow paced for me to go back. But if you are going to another destination, it may still be a neat stop over for 2 or 3 days. From the airport it is easy and quick to get to Zurich by train.

I lived in Los Angeles. To me, Venice beach is something you have to do on a weekend when you are in LA!!I love the boardwalk,the shops, watching people @ the drum circle on the beach. It’s “totally strange”! Street performers, muicians.. Lot’s of fun!! I’ll be visiting there soon!
