I went to Chicago once for a weekend. Nothing major and I didn’t get to see all the sights but I had a good time. I really loved the downtown area. I loved how you just walk everywhere. In Phoenix, we all just drive from parking lot to parking lot.

Navy Pier was cool. The John Hancock building was cool. My friend wouldn’t go to the Sears Tower with me because it was shortly after 9/11 and she was scared.

Not much else to say. I’d go back if I had the opportunity but there are other places I’d go first.

I’ve only been to Seattle twice. Fallen in love with it both times. I attempted to move there but that didn’t work. The last time I went, I got to spend a carefree week (a little more actually) and loved every minute of it. I didn’t want to get on that plane.

Seattle has such a beautiful feel to it. It’s simply amazing. Coming from Phoenix, a city where people just drive from parking lot to parking lot and never walk anywhere, it was nice to be somewhere where you just park your car and walk to all of your destinations. I did the touristy tour boat thing which was cool because it gave me that “outside looking in” perspective.

Seattle captured my heart. I simply wish I could afford to live there.
