i had an awful time in charleston. the city itself is nice, but it’s charm didn’t compensate for all the derogatory comments I overheard there (not aimed at me, there aren’t enough asians in charleston to attract much attention) also, the huge number of confederate flags didn’t help.

I went with 3 friends from college. we spent fall break on the beach. the weather was awesome. but the only real attraction was the ocean.

sara’s has the best hamburgers and amazing soft serve icecream. it is a great stop on the way to the beach

i studied in france for a semester. I lived in Aix-en-Provence in the south of France. Nice and the riveria are beautiful, as are the french people, and french food.

i grew up in oklahoma city, so for me it is nostalgic. but i don’t know why anyone else would want to visit. although if you have an interest in seeing tornadoes, i would suggest coming here.

this is my favorite city. the architecture is amazing, especially gaudi’s cathedral. it’s also a great city to walk in. I was there for a week and only took the subway once, and saw so much more of the city as a result.

this is a great city if you know where to go. I’d recommend not spending too much time at the inner harbor. The aquarium is great, but usually very crowded. There are great neighborhoods to visit. cross street market in federal hill has great seafood. if you’re a john waters fan, hampden is a definite stop. charles street in the mount vernon area is really scenic and has great shops. also, the american visionary is an awesome museum for outsider art.
