I went on a class trip here. Very mellow and the people were very friendly where I stayed (Fairfax). Pretty nice place even though I didn’t get to go to Busch Gardens.

Too much to do. You’ll never get bored if you have a car. I’ve driven from Los Angeles to San Francisco and its like drive through four states.

Its not a tourist place you’d want to drag your family. Pierce College is here. A good mix of suburban/urban lifestyle. Lots of Filopinos, lots of Asians IMO, but everything is nice and quiet about it. Its got expensive houses that are nice too. Look around if you ever pass by Woodland Hills.

If I get accepted this fall/early next year, this is my #1 place to go.

I went to high school in Canoga Park and it grew on me. They’ve done major improvement especially on Sherman Way. They now have tons of little antique shops and thrift stores and even a theatre to see you favorite off-broadway (and sometimes broadway) shows.

I live an hour away from here. When I pass through it, which is rare, its always backed up with traffic. I’ve never actually spend the time to walk around, but it looks nice outside my car window, hehe. Just know if you’ll be taking the buses, bring a few books and newspapers to read while you’re waiting. The Metro is horrible here!

Yeah its nothing special in Van Nuys except a few supermarkets. There was a song called “Van Nuys es Very Nice” by Los Abandoned on the soundtrack of “A Day without a Mexican” which was funny.

People come here all over the world for Six Flags Magic Mountain. I love roller coasters so come here at least once a year since I live 30 minutes away. It’s got more roller coasters than any other amusement park in the world. Other than that, its dull as heck.

I’m been here a couple of times, since I’m from LA. Very tumultuous. Many people are mean and impatient I’ve noticed. The scenery is nice and lots of stuff to do, but make sure you get a map and know what’s what.
