just wonderful :)

i did a day trip from dubrovnik to mostar per car. the old town was rebuild after the war and is quite nice. however, if you leave the historic center there are still lots of bombed buildings which left behind a sad feeling. in addition, there are lots of tourist and locals tried to cheat me twice in only 90 minutes…
...so be careful – especially on the paid parking area near the famous bridge. on the other hand, i stupidly forgot to lock my car and everything was still there… ;-)

i have been to tokyo, kyoto and nara. tokyo is very impressive and really crazy, while the temples and shrines of kyoto and nara are quite relaxing. people are very friendly and helpful – so you will survive even if you do not speak japanese…
All in all, it is one of the most exciting places i have ever been – go there! :)

i was 3 days in rousse and 2 days in sofia. both places are really nice, but clearly sofia is more exiciting :-)
most people are friendly and helpful.

I spent one day in Dublin – the city is really beautiful and the people are friendly. There are plenty of sights, and countless pubs where you can enjoy your Guiness.

Furthermore, I spent three days traveling around by car, visiting Kilkenny, Ennis, Galway, and seeing a lot of meadows, castles, and stones. Needless to say, I also dropped by the Cliffs of Moher – very impressive!

However, I would not recommend to visit Ireland in February unless you like short days and cold/wet climate.

lyon has a beautiful old city centre, nice restaurants and friendly people :)
check out one of the bicycles to rent, and drive around the city. you’ll find lots of nice places. the area around lyon is also worth visiting. you can spend a week here without getting bored…

chicago is great – go there! ;-)

i was in lisbon for a few days and really enjoyed this wonderful city. i can only recommend everyone to go there…
