i did a day trip from dubrovnik to mostar per car. the old town was rebuild after the war and is quite nice. however, if you leave the historic center there are still lots of bombed buildings which left behind a sad feeling. in addition, there are lots of tourist and locals tried to cheat me twice in only 90 minutes…

…so be careful – especially on the paid parking area near the famous bridge. on the other hand, i stupidly forgot to lock my car and everything was still there… ;-)

i have been to tokyo, kyoto and nara. tokyo is very impressive and really crazy, while the temples and shrines of kyoto and nara are quite relaxing. people are very friendly and helpful – so you will survive even if you do not speak japanese…

All in all, it is one of the most exciting places i have ever been – go there! :)
