It’s a laid-back place to eat, if you are the type to wear a tie don’t wear one when you enter this place it’s a “no tie policy”. Very good atmostphere and excellent food!

Gunlock Reservoir received a massive amount of water, at least 30 feet, during the storm. “Gunlock is filling up, and that’s nice because that provides storage for irrigation water, and that really helps out their reserves over there,” Cram said.

Baker Dam, upstream from Gunlock, filled up in a very short matter of time and overtopped its emergency spillway. “Baker Dam is a very small reservoir with a pretty limited capacity,” explained Cram. “To fill up that quickly isn’t really unexpected with the type of precipitation we experienced. With it spilling over the top, it functioned just like it was intended to do. It wasn’t catastrophic failure. It just went over the top in a constructed spillway and went downstream just like it was intended.”

I love driving through here! It’s so peaceful. It’s worth visiting for sure.

This will be my second time going to the Grand Canyon. I’m leaving tomorrow, but I will be driving through there twice. I have not been here since I was very little and barely remember it. I can’t wait to go! I’ll be taking lots of photos for sure!

This was the second largest Wal*Mart in the nation.

I worked here! It was a learning experience I’ll never forget. I recommend it! I have met alot of new friends.

There was alot of drunks around, it was awful! Yuck!

I went to the open house before the dedication when I was a child. It was a really neat experience. I want to go back some day.

What a Beautiful Temple! I just went there today for Family Home Evening to the Visitors Center. It was so neat to be so close to the Temple and know that our Father in Heaven has blessed us with such a wonderful and beautiful Temple. I can’t wait to go there again.
