I can’t wait to go back!

Can anyone recommend free or cheap things to do in San Francisco an the surrounding area? I had a look online but the answers were a bit hit and miss, and I’d rather some recommendations from actual real people?

Also, anything that I cannot possibly miss out on, like Alcatraz?

(I can’t seem to post a question about this place for some reason!)

I’ve been interested in going to Russia for a while, even more since we’ve taken on Russian clients at work and my brother has some very good Russian friends. For the last 2 months I’ve also been having 2 Russian language lessons with a lady that comes to my house. I love the language. Its certainly different from English, and rather challenging at the best of times seeing as I didn’t taught the basics of grammar and sentence structure at school… however, but all accounts for a beginner, I am отлично!

The more speak to my teacher the more I am put off Moscow, but I do the same about living in London, having grown up there, I am really over the place. I can’t wait to go to St Petersburg and to travel out to Siberia and around on the trains.

I am going to San Fran on the 25th January for a week to see my very good friend. I cannot wait!

You all have to go!!! Like yesterday! I was so moved by everything I’m going to move there… (and make my friends come visit me to bring me duty free.)

I can’t remember much. The EMP and Science Fiction Museum were awesome though!

I was visiting my friend last October… flew into LAX and stayed with her in Orange County. She showed me round the coast and inland. A beautiful state and everyone is really nice. I gladly avoided LA hahaha but I saw the Hollywood sign from a far atleast!

Rio de Janeiro… Carnival.. rain forests… adventures!

I’m glad I didn’t pay to get in! (my friend got me in for free…)

Its expensive for families but a good day out… everyone is really super jolly and friendly! (kinda wasted on cynical old me!)
